Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S) and Eating Disorders in Athletes

This webinar will provide a history of and current research on Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S) and how it relates to eating psychopathology, including the co-presentation of specific disordered eating behaviors and eating disorders. We will review screening methodologies, health and performance consequences, potential interventions. Finally, we will discuss distinguishing features between RED-S and overtraining syndrome, and future research and clinical recommendations related to RED-S.
