Various oral signs and symptoms may develop in patients with patterns of disordered eating. These signs often appear early in the disease process and can progress to cause irreversible structural change and functional impairment. This webinar will review the common associated oral symptoms, their physical presentation, and their clinical relevance. We will also discuss several treatment options and intervention measures that dentists and other healthcare specialists may offer. Finally, the webinar will cover home care instructions for patients with active or relapsing behaviors – the aim being risk/harm reduction.
